We are happy to announce that Girls on Games is an official media partner of Montreal International Game Summit – MIGS 2015.
MIGS15 will be held this November 15-17th in Montreal and offers a conference program dedicated to the challenges of the interactive entertainment industry – whether it be technological advances (such as virtual and augmented reality) or issues around digital distribution. A wide-array of topics will be addressed by international experts including Insomniac Games, Ubisoft, Ludia, Moment Factory, Rovio and many more.
This year, they will be welcoming Sir Ian Livingstone, one of the founding fathers of the UK games industry. He will present the session “Life is Game” in which he will give an account of his struggles and how he overcame many challenges as an entrepreneur in the 1970s, from the creation of Games Workshop, to the inauguration of Dungeons & Dragons in Europe or the launch of Tomb Raider, not to mention writing the multi-million selling Fighting Fantasy gamebooks series.
MIGS also announced that Jade Raymond, General Manager at Motive, Electronic Arts, will share her vision on how to manage creativity and the challenges of building a studio. The talk will be moderated by Jason Della Rocca, cofounder of Execution Labs and a key figure in the video game industry.
Girls on Games will be bringing you coverage live from MIGS15 as well as getting you exclusive content from the show.
Stay tuned for all the fun!
