School is over for a majority of us and we finally are experiencing nice spring weather here in Montreal, which also means that we have some free time where we want to just relax on a terrace, at a park or go explore the world while (in my case and maybe yours too) reading lots of comics.
The Avengers are back for round 2 in the superhero extravanganza Avengers: Age of Ultron and it would appear that Tony Stark is once again running the show. Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye are all on board, attempting to make things right after things initially go incredibly wrong (your basic superhero movie formula).
For my first article on Girls On Games, I have to admit that I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in front of my computer going crazy while thinking about which comic I was going to review because they are so many great ones this year! After several hours of nail biting and hair pulling, I made a choice that is perfect for a website that has the word “girls” in it: Lumberjanes.
This week I was given the pleasure of reviewing the first issue in a comic series I've followed for many years now. Written by Ryan Sohmer and illustrated by Lar deSouza, LFG has stood out as a personal favourite of mine with its interesting characters and solid plot.
